Mindfulness and Compassion

1. Decide to spend 15-20 minutes every day to remain still.
2. Choose a regular time of the day which suits you (a quiet time, not too late at night when you may fall asleep).
3. Choose the same place each time.
4. Direct your thoughts towards a person who treated you with understanding, patience and compassion, who you felt comfortable with. Remind yourself how it was to feel being in the presence of a compassionate, patient and understanding person. Feel the warmth of the emotion in your body.
