‘Kasia really helped me to make more sense of my thoughts and emotions at a time in my life when I felt very low and lost. Most importantly she helped me re-align with my inner self providing an improved sense of well-being and feelings of harmony and empowerment. The process provided me with practical techniques that I can use to regulate my moods for the future. I found the course of counselling positive and healing, and I am so grateful to have met her.’ A.
I specialise in an application of short term psychotherapies. My intention is to guide you to improve in the shortest possible time. The usual way of practice is scheduling your treatment in 8 – 16 session time frame. If you wish, we can also work long term. I work with UK-based and international clients and most of my appointments are online. Online sessions allows you to meet me wherever you are and whatever you do (even if you are stuck in-between arrangements and can ‘walk and talk’ in the nearby park.) When you meet me for the first time it will be for a non-binding consultation.
Individual Psychotherapy and Counselling
My main focus is to help you discover or reconnect with your inner safety, meaning and resilience, whether you experienced trauma, abuse, grooming, severe physical or emotional pain, relationship or work troubles or sexual identity difficulties, anxiety and depression or you simply cannot reconnect to your inner safety and peace but you don’t know why. This is a journey of transformation to recover the unique sense of self, who you really are, to be your true self in the world, transforming your pain into your beauty, into your unique way and your light.
Once you have found the way to your ‘Inner Home’, I’ll assist you, throughout the process of transformative counselling, with building resources in order to stay resilient and to walk the path that is unique to you.
You will receive supportive counselling tailored to your needs by an academic, geeky about research and outcomes, and a psychotherapist trained to the highest standards. I hold a MSc in psychotherapy and MSc in research into human development, both from the University of London. I gained experience as a counsellor working with students at the London School of Economics, with individuals at Mind and with couples at the Marriage Care and the Tavistock Relationships. As an academic I connect extensive research on what works therapeutically with your unique situation.
Everything discussed is strictly confidential and handled with care and sensitivity.
In short – therapy with Kasia was life changing. I regret leaving it so late to start therapy and not only did it help me, I really enjoyed it. Men in particular are resistant to the idea of therapy, as was I at first. But working with Kasia created an environment where I was always comfortable and could express freely what I was feeling with no shame or worry. Therapy should not be seen as a last resort, it’s a basic tool we should use more freely and working with Kasia has made me realise this – I cannot recommend her highly enough and will miss speaking to her. Thank you!
I am genuinely committed to supporting individuals and couples in transforming their relationships. My goal is to create safe and warm space for you where a deeper level of understanding is possible. I help both individuals and couples open up and experience sharing, communicating and interacting in new ways.
You may need support to heal emotionally after an affair or separation. Couple counselling can recover or discover what is missing from your relationship and work towards creating an emotionally and physically fulfilling relationship.
This is a space to reduces couples’ conflict while creating a more secure emotional bond. Sometimes when it feels too late to heal your relationship couple counselling can provide the much needed personal and relationship support.
You will be seen by a therapist who creates a space where partners can provide a sense of security, protection and comfort for each other.
I hold Grad. Certif. in couple counselling from Tavistock. I supporting individuals and families since 2008.
Ruislip Log Cabin Office
What can you expect from counselling with me?
- Good pace
- Clear guidance
- Clear time frame
- Intense focus
- Experiencing the sense of purpose in life again
You can also expect:
- Expertise – seeing me privately means that you know who you are working with. You know I am fully qualified, accredited and experienced. Seeing a psychotherapist even in the most respected agency may mean you are allocated to someone who isn’t qualified yet and is building their experience.
- Privacy and no awkwardness around bumping into people in waiting areas in clinics.
- Direct contact with me via email without the awkwardness of going through an assessment process and liaising with office staff.
On this website you will find the types of psychotherapy I can offer but very often you will see that in the end we will follow a ‘mix and match’ approach. I connect psychotherapeutic research with supportive style, hoping to offer an approach that works for you. My academic background equips me with skills to create a bespoke therapeutic style, addressing your deepest psychotherapeutic needs. You can find more about me here.
You will find here pictures I took of Staple Inn where the clinic started a few years ago. This clinic has evolved since its beginnings and now operates almost entirely online with an exception of group training and face-to-face meetings in Ruislip. Whether in person or online, sessions are adopted for you to relax, off-load and heal.
You are very welcome to email me if you have any questions.
Have a browse on the website and I’m looking forward to meeting you!
Psychotherapy and Relationship Counselling @ Staple Inn – High Holborn
Kasia is a wonderful therapist. With her expertise and help, I have been able to find much more of my own happiness. Alongside a compassionate approach, Kasia was able to balance guiding me gently through our sessions with challenging me at the right times. I am incredibly grateful for our time together and can recommend her to anyone wanting to work on healing, in a kind and thoughtful environment.
‘Back then, when I saw you for the first time, I was someone going through a depressive episode but also found it hard to deal with my social anxiety. I didn’t like the job I was doing and felt like I had no one to turn to.
Since then, however, I feel like I have really made progress. Thank you for all the help you have given. If it wasn’t for you, I would never have had the push to make choices in life and start to grow within myself.’
