‘Kasia really helped me to make more sense of my thoughts and emotions at a time in my life when I felt very low and lost. Most importantly she helped me re-align with my inner self providing an improved sense of well-being and feelings of harmony and empowerment. The process provided me with practical techniques that I can use to regulate my moods for the future. I found the course of counselling positive and healing, and I am so grateful to have met her.’ A.
I specialise in an application of short term psychotherapies and I intend to guide you to improve in the shortest possible time. My usual way of practice is scheduling your treatment in 8- 16 session time frame.
When you meet me for the first time it will be for a non-binding consultation.
Individual Psychotherapy and Counselling
I can support you in undertaking an exploration that will transform your self. I work with the neutrality, specialist knowledge, background in academic research, with highly developed therapeutic skills and experience needed to heal emotions, bring understanding and transform your inner self.
You will make sense of what is going on inside of you and in the environment around you, whether it is your relationship, family or work. The treatment will bring an understanding, change, clarity and peace to your inner self. The ultimate outcome of treatment involves finding an inner self and a new way of relating to your self and others.
I specialise in mood disorders such as anxieties or depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, PTSD and eating disorders. You will be able to experience a positive sense of self and the ability to effectively regulate your own emotions.
You will be seen by an experienced psychotherapist educated to MSc in psychotherapy and MSc in research into human development. I worked at the London School of Economics, Mind, Marriage Care and Tavistock Relationships. As an academic I connect extensive research on what works therapeutically with your unique situation.
Everything discussed is strictly confidential and handled with care and sensitivity.
I am genuinely committed to supporting individuals and couples in transforming their relationships. My goal is to create safe and warm space for you where a deeper level of understanding is possible. I help both individuals and couples open up and experience sharing, communicating and interacting in new ways.
You may need support to heal emotionally after an affair or separation. Couple counselling can recover or discover what is missing from your relationship and work towards creating an emotionally and physically fulfilling relationship.
I create a space to reduces couples’ conflict while creating a more secure emotional bond. Sometimes when it feels too late to heal your relationship couple counselling can provide the much needed personal and relationship support.
You will be seen by a therapist who creates a space where partners can provide a sense of security, protection and comfort for each other.
I hold Grad.Certif. in couple counselling from Tavistock. I supporting individuals and families since 2008.
What can you expect?
- Good pace
- Clear guidance
- Clear time frame
- Intense focus
- Experiencing the sense of purpose in life again
You can also expect:
- Expertise – seeing me privately means that you know who you are working with. You know I am fully qualified, accredited and experienced. Seeing a psychotherapist even in the most respected agency may mean you are allocated to someone who isn’t qualified yet and is building their experience.
- Privacy and no awkwardness around bumping into people in waiting areas in clinics.
- Direct contact with me via email without the awkwardness of going through an assessment process and liaising with office staff.
On this website you will find the types of psychotherapy I can offer but very often you will see that in the end we will follow a ‘mix and match’ approach. As an academic I’m geeky about psychotherapeutic research and I will recommend an approach that works for you. My academic background gives me the skills to use a bespoke therapeutic approach addressing your deepest psychotherapeutic needs.
You will find here pictures I took of Staple Inn and of the peaceful and beautiful therapy rooms. These rooms are adopted for you to relax, off-load and heal. In warmer days you will be able to access the restful private courtyard. This is a tranquil place in the heart of High Holborn- just a few minutes walk from the station, Chancery Lane.
You are very welcome to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Have a browse on the website and I’m looking forward to meeting you in person!

Kasia is a wonderful therapist. With her expertise and help, I have been able to find much more of my own happiness. Alongside a compassionate approach, Kasia was able to balance guiding me gently through our sessions with challenging me at the right times.
I am incredibly grateful for our time together and can recommend her to anyone wanting to work on healing, in a kind and thoughtful environment.
‘Back then, when I saw you for the first time, I was someone going through a depressive episode but also found it hard to deal with my social anxiety. I didn’t like the job I was doing and felt like I had no one to turn to.
Since then, however, I feel like I have really made progress. Thank you for all the help you have given. If it wasn’t for you, I would never have had the push to make choices in life and start to grow within myself.’
